Collins Financial Group, LLC was founded on a simple principle: Alaskans deserve clear, honest financial guidance they can understand. Whether you're planning for retirement, protecting your family's savings, or building a business, we're here to help you make informed decisions.
Michael A. Collins, Principal, has called Alaska home since 2003. After graduating from Wasilla High School, he earned his business degree in Investment Finance and Economics at UAA and began his banking career at Wells Fargo in 2009. In 2016, he left corporate America to start his financial practice with New York Life and NYLIFE Securities LLC, and in 2019 he was named a Partner of New York Life's Alaska General Office.
In September 2021, when the pandemic left many families and business owners unsure about their future, he launched Collins Financial Group to work directly with people in his community. Today he has worked with more than 200 families and business owners across Alaska and abroad to do just that.
Families: Retirement income, estate planning, managing costs for extended periods of care, and college funding.
